Norma Catanio Burdge

Norma Catanio Burdge, age 84 years, of Readington Township, NJ, died on Friday, March 20, 2009 at her residence.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, October 19, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Catherine Catanio. She was a lifelong resident of Readington.

She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post #284, Whitehouse, NJ, and was once active with the Holly Trail, Stanton, NJ.

She was a homemaker and retired from American Hoechst, Branchburg, NJ.

A terrific mom, grandmother, and mother-in-law, she was very devoted to her family. Her husband, Harry Burdge, died in 1998. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Harry and Donna Burdge, Jr., of Readington, NJ; a daughter and son-in-law, Marsha and Bob Sepesi, of Ringoes; a brother, Francis Catanio, in Florida; and two grandsons, Chris Sepesi of Raritan Township, NJ, and Matt Sepesi of Denver, CO.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in St. Bernards Cemetery, Bridgewater, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5-8 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
