Norma H. Compton

Norma H. Compton, age 85 years, formerly of Flemington, NJ, died on Sunday, May 21, 2006, in Care One Care Center, Ewing Township, NJ.

Born in Roxbury, NY, May 10, 1921, she was the daughter of the late George and Gladys Mackey Houck.

A 1938 graduate of Flemington High School, Flemington, NJ, Mrs. Compton formerly was employed in the cafeteria at Barley Sheaf School, Raritan Township, NJ.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-five years, Gerald L. Compton of Flemington, NJ; two sons, Dennis Compton of Flemington, NJ and Barry Compton of Doylestown, PA; a daughter, Kathleen Buchholz, of San Antonio, TX; a brother, Richard Houck, of Flemington, NJ; ten grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
