Norman D. Morsbach, age 63 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Friday, September 22, 2006, at his residence.
Born in Elizabeth, NJ, July 3, 1943, he was the son of the late Ernest and Herta Weihs Morsbach. He had resided in Raritan Township, NJ since 1983, having previously resided in Roselle Park, Mountainside, and Scotch Plains, NJ.
Mr. Morsbach graduated from Roselle Park High School. He was a United States Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War, attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was employed by ExxonMobil Research and Engineering Company for twenty-five years as a Designer Associate before retiring in 2004. His hobbies included golf and hunting.
Surviving are his wife of thirty-five years, Barbara A. Morsbach; his son, Joseph R. Morsbach of Raritan Township, NJ; a brother, Ronald E. Morsbach, of New Mexico; a niece and two nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 AM in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Entombment will be in St. Magdalen Mausoleum. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
