Olga (Patricia) M. Zanetti, age 91 years, of Flemington, NJ, passed away Friday, September 21, 2018 in Sarasota, FL. Born October 16,1926 in New York City, she was the daughter of the late James & Tullia DeMilto. Her family relocated to Sergeantsville NJ. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Edward G. Zanetti, and her brothers, James DeMilto and Edward DeMilto, and sister Jesse Schwetz. She is survived by her sons, Edward A. Zanetti and Daniel J. Zanetti and his wife Diane and her daughter Melody L. Zanetti, David & Bryan Wiszniewski, Logan Johnson, Zachary, Lauren & Leah Moschberger, Maisie & Natalie Ronaldo and Austin J. & Lucy Smith. She was always a loving, kind and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Pat, as she was known to most friends and family, spent a lifetime enjoying her love of music. At 18 she joined the USO performing for our armed forces during WWII. She sang professionally for many years with Louis Prima, Nelson Riddle, Art Mooney and Larry Clinton. She also sang with the Rythmaires Orchestra from 1960 to 1994. These years solidified the lifelong friendships between her bandmates and their spouses. She also sang with the accompaniment of Charlie Kutz on piano at their family owned restaurant, “Il Rustico”, in Croton NJ. After moving to New Jersey, she attended Beauty School, earned her esthetician’s license and opened The Powder Puff Beauty Salon. The Salon was originally located in Sergentsville and was later moved to Mine Street in Flemington NJ. Pat and Edward were founding members of the Italian American Heritage Club of Hunterdon County. At the beginning, women were not permitted to be members of the original club. Pat and a few other wives took it upon themselves and founded the Italian American Club Women’s Auxiliary. In 1989 Pat & Edward started traveling between New Jersey and Florida. After many years driving back and forth they retired in Pat’s “Paradise”, Sarasota, Florida.
