Olga Walen

Olga Walen, age 88 years, of Kingwood Township, NJ, died Friday January 13, 2012, at her home.

Born in New York City, NY, June 18, 1923, daughter of the late Michael and Anna Stasuk Opiela, she had resided in Kingwood Township, NJ for the last eighty-five years.

She was a homemaker and operated a sheep farm in Kingwood Township and was a Communicant of Our Lady of Victories Church, Baptistown, NJ.

Her husband Edward Walen, died in 2005.

Survivng are two sons, David M. Walen and Michael E. Walen both of Kingwood Township, NJ and a cousin, Olga Cooper of Lambertville, NJ.

A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday at Noon in Our Lady of Victories Church, Route 519, Baptistown, NJ. Interment will be in St. Magdalen Cemetery under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
