Omar Adams

Omar Adams, age 91 years, of Lecanto, FL died on Saturday, April 9, 2016 there. Born in Canada, November 22, 1924, he was the son of the late Omar and Nina Barclay Adams. Omar was a materials handler with Pratt-Whitney until retiring. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Deschennes Adams; four sons, John of Milford, NJ, Christopher of Brattleboro, VT., Eric of Boise, ID., and Omar, Jr. of Springfield, MA.; two daughters, Elaine Armstrong of Cocoa, FL. and Lori Fox of Lebanon, PA.; twenty-three grandchildren and forty-six great grandchildren.. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 2 PM in the Heritage Baptist Church, 1 Autumn Leaf Drive, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Fort Fairfield, Maine. Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 1-2 PM in the church.
