Ophelia Galagar Bagaipo of Flemington, NJ, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2016 at St. Luke’s University Hospital, in Bethlehem, PA. She was 71 years old. Born in Jagna, Bohol, Philippines on October 15, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Pedro and Marciana Apalisok Galagar. Ophelia was a public school teacher and then school statistician for over 30 years in Bohol. She was a much-loved and greatly respected member of the Jagna community. She was preceded in death by her younger brother, Renato, and son, Apollo Vincent. She is survived by her husband of forty-eight years, Domingo; daughter, Athena Theresa; sons, Triumph Dominic, Adonis Raymund, and Jupiter Anthony; brothers, Alfredo Galagar and Peter Galagar, Jr.; sister Thelma Galagar; and grandchildren, Aina, Bem-bem, Ezee, Amos, Binkoy, Niki, DV, and Trent. The viewing will be held on Saturday, August 20 from 12:30-1:30 PM at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home (147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ). Catholic Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 PM in St. Magdalen de Pazzi Church (105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ). Repast will follow after Mass. Interment will be private.
