Ed Taulbee, age 50 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Thursday, August 26, 2010 surrounded by his loving family after successfully surviving pancreatic cancer and a courageous fight against brain cancer.
Born in Ann Arbor, MI, January 11, 1960, he was the son of the late Orrin Edison and Margaret MacDougall Taulbee. He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech, his MBA from the University of Pittsburgh and his M.S. in Computer Science from Iowa State University. Ed was an avid sailor, snow skier, and golfer. He also was passionate about antique cars and wines.
Surviving are his wife, Sandra Lynn Dittmar-Taulbee; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Gregor M. and Kathy Taulbee of Basking Ridge, NJ, George M. and Brigitte Taulbee of Charlotte, NC, and Scott R. and Elizabeth Taulbee of Atlanta, GA; his sister-in-law and her husband, Laurel and Thomas Suk; his brother-in-law and his wife, Andrew and Samantha Dittmar; his mother-in-laws, Susan Dittmar and Pat Willis; his father-in-law and his wife, Fritz and Kathleen Dittmar; and eleven nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, September 5, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. in the Clover Hill Reformed Church, 890 Amwell Road, Hillsborough, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be private.
