Orville W. Williamson

Orville W. Williamson, age 88 years, of Readington Township, NJ, died Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at his home. Born in Plainfield, NJ, October 31, 1933, son of the late Orville M. and Estelle Borasky Williamson, he was raised in San Bruno, CA prior to moving to the Flemington area. A United States Army Veteran, Orville worked as an Industrial Arts teacher for Branchburg Central Middle School, NJ. He was a private pilot and enjoyed restoring older aircraft. Orville was an avid cellist and performed with the Hunterdon County Symphony Orchestra since its inception. He is pre-deceased by his wife, Eileen Margaret Williamson in 2018, and two brothers, Roger Williamson and Douglas Williamson. Surviving are his two sons and a daughter-in-law, Scott David Williamson and his wife, Cathy, of Bloomingdale, GA, and Todd Orville Williamson of Flemington, NJ; four grandchildren, Kira Williamson, Cody Williamson, Colleen Thomas and Nicole Hackworth; a sister, Gail Wood of Port Charlotte, FL, and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 26, 2022, at 11:00 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Burial will follow in Neshanic Cemetery, Amwell Road, Neshanic, NJ. Calling hours will be Wednesday 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
