Patience K. Verity, age 44 years, of Franklin Township, Hunterdon County, NJ, died Sunday, January 26, 2014, at Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Raritan Township, NJ, December 27, 1969, daughter of Lorraine Jones Thanel of Pt. Pleasant Borough, NJ and the late Paul Kaczetow, she had formerly resided in Milford, NJ, and had resided in Franklin Township for two years.
A 1988 graduate of Pt. Pleasant Borough High School, she was formerly a bank teller with Fidelity Bank, Frenchtown, NJ.
Patience was active in a bowling league at West Hunterdon Lanes; was an avid NASCAR fan and was a member of the Frenchtown American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a longtime member of the Flemington Baptist Church.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, are her husband, David Verity; a son, Rhett Verity, at home; her father, Robert Thanel of Pt. Pleasant Borough, NJ; three sisters, April Kaczetow of Pt. Pleasant Borough, NJ, Tracy Taylor of Phillipsburg, NJ, and Tammy Kaczetow of Flemington, NJ, and several nieces and nephews. Also surviving are two sisters-in-law and three brothers-in-law; several aunts and uncles; a half-brother, Robert Thanel and a half- sister, Nancy Pescatore.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 30, 2014, at 10:00AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ.
