Patricia A. Monigan

Patricia A. Monigan of Lower Makefield entered into the loving presence of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2008. She was 82.

Pat was born in Ridley Park, Pa., to Avette and Patrick Morgan.

She graduated from Elkton, Maryland High School in 1944 and went on to attend Goldie-Beecham College in Wilmington, Del.

Pat is survived by her loving husband, Edward T. Monigan; two devoted daughters, Linda Montigel of Lower Makefield, and Deborah Hann and her husband, Dave, of Easton, Pa.; her brother, John Morgan and his wife, Sue, of Westport, Wash.; two grandchildren, Brad Carvellas and his wife, Sarah, of Allentown, Pa., and Laurie and her husband, Jon Shoudt of Easton; four great-grandchildren, Anneliese, John, Nathan and Caleb, all of whom were deeply loved by Pat and will also miss her.

Pat and her husband, Ed, have run a pet sitting business called The Irish Sitter since 1991, and through this enterprise and because of Pat's loving and kind ways, she became acquainted with many people in the area and made many lasting friendships.

Funeral arrangements will be private per Pat's wishes. A memorial service in Pat's name is planned for a future date.

The family would appreciate any remembrance donations be made to the Hospice at Chandler Hall.
