Patricia A. Rowland

Patricia A. Rowland, age 86 years, of Flemington, NJ, died Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at her home.

A lifelong resident of New Jersey, she was born in Pitman, NJ, November 17, 1937, daughter of the late James P. Powers, Jr. and Alice Mae Webb Powers. A resident of the Flemington area since 2001, she had formerly resided in Hamilton, Sewell, Mountainside and Matawan, NJ.

A graduate of College Misericordia, she was a retired public school special education teacher.

She loved spending time at the Jersey Shore.

Her husband, Joseph W. Rowland, died in 2009 and a son, James K. Rowland, died in 2011. Surviving are a son Joseph Chrisopher Rowland and his wife, Mamie S. Bowers, MD of Flemington, NJ; two grandchildren, John Christopher Rowland and his wife, Liza Jane (Torsilieri) Rowland and Sophia Bowers Rowland and her husband, Connor McCann.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Summer Road, Three Bridges, NJ followed by burial in St. Magdalen Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Saturday 9:30 AM-10:30 AM at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Flemington Food Pantry, PO Box 783, Flemington, NJ 08822.
