Patricia Ann Monetti

Patricia Ann Monetti, “Patty Bross”, age 86 years, of Delaware Township, NJ passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Rahway, NJ, March 28, 1937, the daughter of the late Richard and Ruth (Holmes) Bross. She had formerly resided in Union, NJ, graduating from Union High School with the Class of 1954. She was Miss Union in 1956 and competed in the Miss New Jersey contest that year.

Patty sang professionally as a teenager and performed on the Ed Sullivan Show twice, The Copacabana in NYC, and cut a Columbia Record. Patty sang with some of the greats of the era.

Some of her hobbies included being an excellent bowler, tennis player, and avid golfer. Additionally, she was a great cook and baker, and loved to tend to her garden. She loved to travel, some of her favorite destinations included Italy and the Florida Keys. Furthermore, she loved dogs, especially Golden Retrievers. Finally, she enjoyed entertaining family and friends. Her family meant everything to her, especially her grandchildren.

She had an understated charm that attracted everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed by all those lives she touched. However, we find solace knowing she is in heaven with those who went before her.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Richard Bross, and her sister, Ruth Julius.

Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Robert H. Monetti; her daughter Maureen (Monetti) Gerber and her husband Chip, her son Jonathan Monetti and his wife Michele; her grandchildren Hillary and Layne Gerber; and her sister Kathleen Carnevale.

A visitation will take place on Friday, December 29, 2023, from 10:00 AM until 12 Noon at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home at 12 Noon. Graveside services and interment will be in Barber Burying Ground, Delaware Township, NJ.
