Patricia G. Suydam, age 78 years, of Marlton, NJ, formerly of Franklin Township, Hunterdon County, NJ, died Monday, September 21, 1920, at Kresson View Health Center, Voorhees, NJ. Born in Flemington, NJ, April 4, 1942, daughter of the late Edward and Ethel Stymiest Gary, she had resided in Franklin Township most of her life. A 1960 graduate of Hunterdon Central High School, Flemington, NJ, she was formerly a beautician and homemaker. An avid bowler, Patty was a member of the Somerset Bowling League and was inducted into the Somerset County Bowling Hall of Fame. Her husband, Lester Suydam, Jr, died in 2013. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Nora and Jim Ecker of Marlton, NJ; son G. Scott Suydam of Wayne, NJ; a brother, Edward Gary of Kentucky; and four grandchildren, Ryan, Leigh-Anne and Taylor Ecker and Cory Suydam. Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 24, 2020, at 11:30 AM in Locust Grove Cemetery, Quakertown, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
