Patricia J. Jeanette

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia Josephine Jeanette, a loving mother and grandmother, successful career woman, and community volunteer, who passed away peacefully on April 6th in Hillsborough, NJ at the age of 85. Born in Manville, NJ to Joseph & Estelle Palecki, she leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, good laughs and good Polish values!

Pat, or “PJ” to her closest friends, was married to the late Nicholas Albert Jeanette, Jr. for 54 years. Together they had four loving children: Cheryl Gaskill, Mark Jeanette, Michelle Jeanette & Nicole Camporeale. Beyond her role as a devoted mother, she retired from Johnson & Johnson after 25 years in Customer Service Management, followed by various consulting roles with the company.

Throughout her life she enjoyed being active in the Catholic church, teaching CCD, coordinating food drives and lending a hand with fundraising events. She loved to read - The biggest books you could find! Her love for reading spurred her to do more, including starting a book club and teaching others to read via a Literacy Council. She also enjoyed writing, mahjong, knitting, cooking, wine, the beach, good friends, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her Children: Cheryl & Jack Gaskill of Flemington, NJ; Mark Jeanette of New Lebanon, NY; Michelle Jeanette & Todd Bolig of Clinton, NJ and Nicole & Tom Camporeale of Flemington; her grandchildren, J.P. Gaskill & Kristy Pouchan, Jarrod Gaskill, Eveonia Pouchan, Nicholas Forster & Kari Dombroski, Teagan Camporeale & Michael Camporeale.

While we are deeply saddened, and she will be greatly missed, per her favorite song we will, ‘Celebrate Good Times’ (Kool & The Gang).

A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, May 9, 2025 at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Victories Roman Catholic Church, Baptistown, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be held privately at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Manville, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital, Tunnel to Towers or Wounded Warrior Project in her memory.
