Paul Clayton Storr, age 70 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Sunday, January 16, 2011 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ surrounded by his beloved wife of forty-nine and a half years, Carol, his loving sisters and brothers and his two special nephews, Richard Storr and Thomas Stover.

Born in Trenton, NJ, April 13, 1940, son of the late John William and Edith Miller Storr, he was a lifelong area resident.

Paul operated Hunterdon Home Inspection Service as a NJ State Licensed Home Inspector for thirty-two years. Prior to that, he owned and operated a general contracting construction company specializing in remodeling homes.

An active life member of the Raritan Township Fire Company, Paul served as Chief of the department for seven years as well as serving numerous years as its President. In total, he volunteered with 21 Fire for forty-nine years and nine months.

Paul also served for many years as the President of the Raritan Township Fire Comapany's Firemen's Relief Association. He was a member of the Hunterdon County Fire Chief's Association and a life member of the New Jersey State Firemen's Relief Association. Additionally, he was an avid camper and a member of Y-Nots Family Camping Club since 1973.

He was pre-deceased by a brother, Kenneth "Dutch" Storr in 1981.

Surviving are his loving wife, Carol Redling Storr; his brother Roger and wife Ann of Flemington, NJ, brother Burdette "Nub" and wife Caroline of Flagler Beach, FL, brother Grenelle "Slim" Storr and wife Bernice of Flemington, NJ, brother Richard of Shallotte, NC, brother Robert and wife Gail of Sergeantsville, NJ, sister Wenonah and husband Jack Stover of Ringoes, NJ and sister Mary Miller of Ringoes, NJ; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will take place Friday at 10:00 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Thursday from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. with a Firematic Service at 8:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
