Paul J. Trotta, age 74 years, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2016 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township from complications of lung and heart disease.
Paul was born in Queens, New York in 1942, son of the late Paul and Marjorie (Brockington) Trotta, he moved to Union, NJ, as a young child.
He met his wife, Janet Marsh, in 1962 and they were married and lived in Janet’s hometown of Sheffield, England, for several years before moving back to New Jersey and California. They moved to Flemington in 1978 with their three children.
Paul was employed by Kawasaki Motors Corp for 34 years before retiring in 2003 as an Executive Vice President.
In his younger years, Paul enjoyed hunting and fishing; he and Janet loved to travel extensively and took many trips around the world.
Paul is survived by his wife of 53 years, Janet, his daughter Laurie Loftus, sons Paul and Scott Trotta, as well as five grandchildren, William, Chelsea, and Brandon Loftus, Melissa Perry, Victoria Trotta, and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral service officiated by the Rev. Kathryn R. Mustaro, will be on Thursday, April 14, 2016, at the Flemington Presbyterian Church, 10 East Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Flemington. Calling hours will be Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
