Paul John Bartolomeo, age 82 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Friday, January 6, 2006, at his residence.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, May 9, 1923, he was the son of the late Ralph and Julia Taranto Bartolomeo. He had formerly resided in Brooklyn, NY, and Milford, PA. He had resided in Raritan Township, NJ, since 1993.
He retired from Epic Chemicals, Metuchen, NJ, in 1985.
He was a United States Navy veteran of World War II.
He was a Communicant of St. Magdalen Church, Flemington, NJ.
He was pre-deceased by a son, Ralph S. Bartolomeo; two brothers; Frank and Vincent Bartolomeo; and two sisters, Emily Sorrentino and Edith Thoman.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years, Gloria Muscarello Bartolomeo; three daughters; Mary Barneby, of New Haven, CT, Joan Bartolomeo, of Brooklyn, NY, and Kathy Rayborn, of Raritan Township, NJ; a daughter-in-law, Nancy Bartolomeo, of Westfield, NJ; and five grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 AM in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Westfield, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-7 PM and Monday from 2-5 and 7-9 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
