Paul R. Kenny, age 56 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Thursday, November 9, 2006.
Born in Newark, NJ, September 29, 1950, son of the late Roydon A. and Rita Judge Kenny, he had resided in Raritan Township the past twenty years, previously residing in Caldwell, NJ.
Mr. Kenny attained his J.D. from Rutgers School of Law, Newark, NJ. He was currently serving as a Deputy Attorney General and Section Chief for Professional Board Prosecution for the New Jersey State Attorney General's Office. He formerly served as Deputy Attorney General for the division of Youth and Family Services and was also and English Teacher at West Essex Regional High School, North Caldwell, NJ.
A member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Mr. Kenny was an instructor for the Attorney General's Advocacy Institute, a member of the Hunterdon Bucks Baseball Team and a member of the Humane Society.
Surviving are his wife of twenty-three years, Robin Dekker Kenny; three brothers, Peter Kenny of New Paltz, NY, Philip Kenny of Reno, NV and James Kenny of Fairfield, NJ; two sisters, Marthe Forsell of West Caldwell, NJ and Suzanne Padilla of Boise, ID; and ten nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in the Flemington Presbyterian Church, 10 East Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment was private.
