Paul Schneiderman, age 93 years, of Columbus, OH, formerly of Flemington, NJ, died on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Wexner Heritage Village, Columbus, OH.
Born in Poland, October 1, 1919, he had resided in Flemington, NJ for sixty-one years before moving to Columbus in September, 2012.
Paul formerly owned and operated the Flemington Dairy Queen and was also a real estate agent in the area for many years.
A longtime member of the Flemington Jewish Community Center, he served as Religious Chairman there for over fifty years.
Surviving are his wife of over sixty-five years, Gizella Rosenberg Schneiderman; three sons, Mark of Flemington, NJ, Norman of Columbus, OH and David of Los Angeles, CA; a daughter, Helene Schneiderman, currently living in Germany; nine grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 1, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. in the Flemington Jewish Community Center, 5 Sergeantsville Road, Flemington, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Paul and his wife started a fund at the Flemington Jewish Community Center in order to promote awareness of the Holocaust and educate the community.
