Pauline D. “Bunny” Hall, age 80 years, of Auburn, PA, died on Friday, July 3, 2020 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest, Allentown, PA.
Born in Somerville, NJ on July 21, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Edward L. and Pauline Fiset Schaefer. Before moving to Pennsylvania nearly thirteen years ago, she had resided most of her life, over forty years, in Clover Hill, NJ.
“Bunny” was formerly employed as an office worker for the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ serving in many capacities, including the out-patient desk, before retiring in 2002.
“Bunny” was a member and past treasurer of the Three Bridges Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and the “Secret Pal Group”. In addition, she loved square dancing, listening to country music, camping, and traveling, especially to Las Vegas, NV. She also enjoyed cooking and baking, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Edward L. Schaefer, Jr., who died in 1960. Surviving are her husband of sixty-one years, Alvin “Cary” Hall, of Auburn, PA, her two daughters: Lori Hall, of Pottsville, PA and Cheray Stafford, of Hillsborough, NJ. Additionally, she is survived by her five grandchildren; Donald Stafford, Nicole Stafford, Jessica Cooley, Shelby Cooley, and Bryant Hall as well as her six great-grandchildren: Layla, Jayden, Alexandria, Dakota, Ava, and Dalton. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, James and Terri Schaefer, of Summit, NJ.
Public calling hours on Thursday, July 9, 2020 will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. A private funeral service and burial will follow in Three Bridges Cemetery, Main Street, Three Bridges, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in “Bunny’s” name may be made to the Special Olympics of New Jersey, 1 Eunice Kennedy Shriver Way, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
