Paulo P. Gucciardo, age 79 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Sunday, November 1, 2015, at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ. Paulo was born June 19,1936, in Porto Alege, Brazil, and after finishing high school was in the Brazilian Army. He then became an electrician and in 1968 moved to New York City. In 1969, he brought his family to America, and later , after jobs as a dishwasher and work in a Scotch Tape factory, became a supervisor at Hago Manufacturing, Springfield, NJ until retiring in 2006. Paulo enjoyed gardening, cooking, traveling with friends and spending time with his family,especially his great grandchildren. He is survived by his daughters, Cristina and Walkiria; sons-in-law, Alberte and Scott; granddaughters, Michelle, Ashley, and Kimberly; and great grandchildren, Tyler, Brooke, Blake and Hudson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, November 6, 2015, at 1:30 PM in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Thursday 6:00 PM-9:00 PM at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Memorial contributions may be made to The National Brain Tumor Society, 55 Chapel Street, Suite 200, Newton, MA. 02458.
