Peggy A. Compton

Peggy A. Compton, age 77 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on Sunday, October 22, 2006 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Clinton, NJ, November 29, 1928, daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Doyle Oldenborg, she had formerly resided in Somerville, NJ, then at Bartles Corner, NJ before moving to Flemington nineteen years ago.

She was a homemaker and was also formerly employed by Diehl Manufacturing.

Surviving are her husband of forty-six years, Roy Compton; a son, Charles Compton of Raritan Township, NJ; a sister, Ruth Newcombe of Ravenswood, WV; and a brother, George Onderdonk of Westwood, NJ.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ.
