Peter Emery

Peter S. Emery, Jr., age 84 years, of Bedford, VA, formerly of Clover Hill, NJ, died on Wednesday, May 11, 2005, in the Foothill Acres Nursing Home, Hillsborough, NJ.

Born in Clover Hill, NJ, September 27, 1920, he was the son of the late Peter S. and Iva Dilts Emery. He had resided in Neshanic Station most of his life.

He was a self-employed plumber in Neshanic Station, retiring in 1981. He was a former chief and life member of the Neshanic Volunteer Fire Company. He was a United States Army veteran of World War II.

Surviving are his wife, Margaret Lake Emery; two daughters, Yvonne Baurys of Point Pleasant, NJ, and Patricia Emery of Flemington, NJ; a son, Edward Emery, of Whitehouse Station, NJ; four sisters, Nellie McCreery of Flemington, NJ, Katherine Hultz of Readington Township, NJ, Doris DeLorenzo of Hillsborough, NJ, and Mildred Bridges of Raritan Boro, NJ; eight grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held on Monday at 1 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private in Clover Hill Cemetery, Clover Hill, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
