Peter G. Vogel

Peter G. Vogel, age 84 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died Monday, December 31, 2012, at his home.

Born in Stockton, NJ, October 8, 1928, son of the late Tito and Savina Hettman Vogel, he had resided in Delaware Township since 1957.

An avid bowler who also enjoyed fishing, he was a retired self-employed carpenter. He also was a US Army veteran of the Korean War.

Surviving are his wife of fifty-seven years, Grace Ellis Vogel; a daughter, Grace Lefebvre of Stockton, NJ; two grandchildren, Mike Winarz and Jessica Lefebvre; two brothers, William Vogel of Lambertville, NJ and Walter Vogel of South Carolina; and four sisters, Barbara Childes of Browns Mill, NJ, Eva Brown of Flemington, NJ, Betty Horner of Milford, NJ, and Rose Nickols in South Carolina.

Another daughter, JoAnn Winarz, died in 2003.

Funeral Services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Rosemont Cemetery, Rosemont, NJ.
