Peter Paul Lorenzo

Peter Paul Lorenzo, age 90 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at his home.

Born in New York, NY, February 7, 1927, he was the son of the late Peter and Mary Abetemarco Lorenzo, and had resided in Raritan Township since 1964.

Mr. Lorenzo was a United States Army veteran of World War II.

Peter retired in 1987 as a Lieutenant with FDNY Engine 23 after thirty-two years of service.

He was predeceased by his sisters, Lucy and Angela. Surviving are his wife of sixty-four years, Conception Torro Lorenzo; a son, Peter Lorenzo, Jr. of Fountain Inn, SC; a daughter, Barbara Koye of Cypress, TX; two brothers, Angelo Lorenzo of New York and Michael Lorenzo of Florida; and a grandson, John Paul Lorenzo.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 10:30 AM in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in St. Magdalen Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 from 4-7 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
