Philip E. Fleming, age 83 years, of Sergeantsville, NJ passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022, at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Doylestown, PA on February 16, 1938, he was the son of the late Clarence E. and Helen E. Foy Fleming. He had resided in Hunterdon County, NJ all his life.
Throughout his life, Mr. Fleming worked for various employers including Taurus Corporation, Trenton Crane Pottery, US Bronze, and most recently the Hunterdon County Road Department.
He was a member of the Stockton Rod & Gun Club and very much enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 62 years, Elizabeth M. (Bird) Fleming; five children, Sondra Zavaglia and her husband James, Philip E. Fleming, Jr. and his wife Barbara, Scott B. Fleming, James M. Fleming and his wife Kim, Bruce P. Fleming and his wife Kimi; six grandchildren as well as three great-grandchildren; and his sister, Nancy McNamara.
There will be a private visitation at the funeral home followed by a graveside service at Rosemont Cemetery, Route 519, Rosemont, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822.
