Philip Elbert, age 84 years, of Dobbs Ferry, NY, died on Sunday, April 30, 2006 at Vanderbilt Medical Center, Nashville, TN.
Born in Newark, NJ, July 4, 1921, he was the son of the late Frank and Yetta Goldring Elbert.
He was a retired accountant with Amerace Corporation, New York City, NY.
He was a graduate of Rutgers University.
Mr. Elbert was a United States Army veteran of World War II, serving in the Rhineland and Central Europe Campaigns.
His wife, Shirley Everitt Elbert died in 1996.
Surviving are three sons; Oliver Elbert of Raritan Township, NJ, Philip N. Elbert of Nashville, TN, and David Elbert of Baltimore, MD; and six grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be held on Thursday at 2 PM in Union Cemetery, Ringoes, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
