Phoebe Bohling

Phoebe Bohling, age 101 years, of Bernardsville, NJ, died on Friday, March 16, 2007, in Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, NJ.

Born in East Haddam, CT, June 6, 1905, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Bessie Roper Hefflon. She had formerly resided in Deep River, CT.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in East Haddam, CT.

Her husband, Irwin C. Bohling, died in 1977. She was also predeceased by a sister, Louise H. Geffkin, in 1987. Surviving are two nieces, Phoebe Field of Bernardsville, NJ, and Donna Hansen of New Britain, CT.

Funeral arrangements will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in Fountain Hill Cemetery, Deep River, CT.
