Phyllis Campbell Warne

Phyllis Campbell Warne, age 91 years, of Old Bridge, NJ, died on Saturday, July 25, 2008 in the Reformed Church Home, Old Bridge, NJ.

Born in Abington, MA, July 28, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Carrie L. Horton Fredericks and had resided in Old Bridge, NJ for the past ten years. Prior to that, she had formerly lived in Lakewood, NJ, Flemington, NJ and Plainfield, NJ.

She was a Platform Secretary for many years at the Hunterdon County National Bank, Flemington, NJ.

Mrs. Warne was an avid bridge player and very much enjoyed dancing, playing golf, and bowling. She was a member of the Brick Presbyterian Church, Brick, NJ and was currently attending services at the Reformed Church Home, Old Bridge, NJ.

She was pre-deceased by her first husband, Charles S. Campbell in 1968 and her second husband, Harry D. Warne in 1984. Additionally a daughter, Ruth Delli Santi, died in 2001.

Surviving are a daughter, Susan L. Hendershot of Lebanon, NJ; three grandchildren, Christine Drew of Boxford, MA, Steven Hendershot of Phillipsburg, NJ, and Todd Cadley of Charelston, SC; and three great grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. in the Stanton Reformed Church, Stanton, NJ. Interment will be private in Somerset Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum, Basking Ridge, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
