Phyllis J. Brost

Phyllis J. Brost, age 82, died, Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at home in Manville.

Born on June 4, 1931, Phyllis lived in Flemington most of her life before recently moving to Manville. She retired from the American Hoechst Corp. in Bridgewater, where she worked for many years.

Predeceased by her husband, Edward William Brost, her son, John Brost, and her sister, Shirley Muth, Phyllis is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Gilberto Funes of Thornton, CO; her son, William Brost of Parker, CO; her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Andrew Baber of Flemington, NJ; and daughter and son-in-law, Jeanette and John Medel of Manville, NJ. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, Jason Jandura, Tonya Ferrell, Amy Rivers, Wendy Brost, Natasha Funes, Robin Brost, Anthony Funes, Taylor Baber, and Timothy Baber, seven great-grandchildren, as well as her nephew, Christopher Muth, her niece, Jennifer Muth, and her great-niece, Kimberly Muth.

Funeral arrangements and burial in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Flemington, NJ will be private and under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822.
