Raffaella G. Christiano Koster

Raffaella G. Christiano Koster, age 88 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Monday, April 17, 2017, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Belleville, NJ, October 17, 1928, daughter of the late Frank and Louise Petitte Christiano, she had formerly resided in Irvington and Union, NJ.

Raffaella was a client representative for Prudential Insurance Company for twenty-seven years before retiring. After retirement she was employed by A&P Supermarket in both Union and Kenilworth as well as Hunterdon Central High School.

In addition to her parents she is pre-deceased by her three siblings, Angelina Chance, Angelo Christiano, and Marie Raymond.

Surviving are her husband of fifty-three years, Eugene J. Koster, Sr.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Eugene J. Koster, Jr. and his wife, Michelle of Little Silver, NJ and Edward F. Koster and his wife, Angela of Tewksbury, NJ; four grandchildren, Peter Koster, Christina Koster, Christian Koster and Macallan Koster and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 24, 2017 at 10:30 AM in St. Magdalen de Pazzi Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, East Hanover, NJ. Calling hours will be held Sunday, April 23, 2017 from 2:00-4:00 PM in the Holcombe Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
