Ramon Okrepky, age 95 years, formerly of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Tuesday, April 17, 2007, in the Rolling Hills of Hunterdon Care Center, Clinton Township, NJ.
Born in Newark, NJ, March 30, 1912, he was the son of the late Anton and Paraska Milian Okrepky.
He was formerly a foreman for Bush Dairy Farms, Inc., Flemington, NJ, then at Flemington Lumber Company, and eventually retired from Lipton Tea, Raritan Township, NJ in 1978.
After retirement, Mr. Okrepky and his wife were active in senior citizen groups and enjoyed traveling throughout the United States.
He was a communicant of St. Magdalen Church, Flemington, NJ.
His wife, A. Nell Slovik Okrepky, died in 2004. Surviving are two daughters and one son-in-law, Vivian Okrepky of Hillsborough, NJ, and Catherine and Charles Smith of Flemington, NJ.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 AM in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Entombment will be in St. Magdalen Mausoleum. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 9:15 AM until 10 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
