Raymond D. Mcconnon

Raymond D. McConnon, age 95, died Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Hunterdon Medical Center.

Born July 20, 1918 in Port Carbon, PA, to Patrick and Alice (McDonald) McConnon, Raymond joined the United States Army during World War II. He was a professional boxer for many years before retiring from RCA Corporation in the Shipping and Receiving Department.

Predeceased by his parents and siblings, Raymond is survived by his wife of 17 years, Isabel DeMaria McConnon, and his step-sons, Berlin Saraiva and Germanoeric Café, as well as a niece and nephew.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 am on Monday, May 5, 2014 at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18920. Visitation will be Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 am at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822.
