Raymond Oscar

Raymond Oscar, age 72 years, of Franklin Township, NJ, died Saturday, April 30, 2011 at his home.

Born in Somerville, NJ, January 16, 1939, he was the son of the late William and Agnes Stashak Oscar.

Living in the Franklin Township area since 1965, he was a Steamfitter with the Steamfitter Local #475, Warren, NJ. He was a parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena Church, Pittstown, NJ.

He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Barbara J. Oscar; a son and daughter-in-law, William S. and Yu-Wen Oscar of Roseville, CA; a daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Michael Hando of Raritan Township, NJ; a brother, William Oscar of Milltown, NJ; three grandchildren, Raymond and Amanda Hando both of Raritan Township, NJ, and William R. Oscar of Roseville, CA.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Pittstown, NJ. Entombment will be in the Immaculate Conception Mausoleum, Annandale, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
