Regina M. Lindemann

Regina M. (nee Gwozdecka) Lindemann of Flemington, NJ, formerly of Westwood, NJ, and Silverdale, WA, passed away at Hunterdon Medical Center due to COVID-19-related complications on Wednesday, April 29 at the age of 87. She was born on May 13th, 1932 in Paterson, NJ, to Michael and Mary (nee Sekula) Gwozdecki. Regina is predeceased by her husband, Jack, and a son, Matthew, and sisters Katherine (Zak), Agnes (Strobino), and Dorothy (Gwozdecka). She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Kyra Lindemann of Flemington, NJ; two sons and daughter-laws, John and Beth Lindemann of Fremont, NH, and Marc and Dawn Lindemann of Baldwinsville, NY. She is also survived by three granddaughters, Merit Lindemann, Erin Harrington and her husband Luke, and Mikaela Lindemann; a niece, Charyl Vaccaro of Las Vegas, NV; great nephew, Nico Vaccaro; and nephew, Robert Strobino, of Wellington, FL. Regina graduated from Eastside High School in Paterson and received her teaching degree from Paterson State Teachers College (William Paterson University) in 1954. She first taught in the New Milford (NJ) school system before marrying Jack and moving to Westwood. She later taught several grade levels at Zion Lutheran School in Westwood (NJ) for more than 20 years. She enjoyed keeping in touch with her students from many years ago by following them and communicating with them on social media. Regina was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Westwood, NJ, and St. Paul Lutheran Church in Flemington. Due to government advisories surrounding the coronavirus pandemic, no funeral arrangements are available at this time.
