Reynold W. Symons, age 91 years, of Whiting, NJ, died on Thursday, April 19, 2007 in Twin Bridges Nursing Home, Whiting, NJ.
Born in Pen Argyl, PA, July 10, 1915, son of the late John and Stella Masters Symons, he had formerly resided in Flemington, NJ over thirty years before moving to Whiting three years ago.
During the 1940's, he was employed by Palmer Physical Laboratory at Princeton University where he was involved with weapons research. He later founded and operated R & R Radio and Electronics Co., Trenton, NJ.
A talented amateur musician, he was an accomplished violinist and pianist.
Surviving are his wife of seventy years, Ruth Van Horn Symons; two sons, Richard of Perkasie, PA and John of Pennington, NJ; two grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Pen Argyl, PA.
