Ricardo John Cerdeira, age 20 years, of Branchburg, NJ, died on Thursday, August 31, 2017 in North Hollywood, CA. Born in Morristown, NJ, March 25, 1997, he was the son of Ricardo Cerdeira of Flemington, NJ, and Mary Ann Rockford Cerdeira of Branchburg, NJ. Ricardo was currently a student at Recording Connections in Glendale, CA. He was a graduate of Somerville High School, Somerville, NJ. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a sister, Stephanie Faugeron in France; his paternal grandmother, Maria Do Carmo in Portugal; and his Godparents, Armando Cerdeira and Melagros Cerdeira. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 11, 2017 at 10:30 AM in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 5-8 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Memorial contributions may be made to support Ricardo's love of music to The ASCAP Legislative Fund for the Arts, Attention: Adrian Ross, ALFA c/o ASCAP, One Lincoln Plaza, 1900 Broadway, New York, NY 10023.
