Richard Booth, age 75 years, of Franklin Township, Hunterdon County, NJ, died on Wednesday, December 6, 2006 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Rahway, NJ, September 4, 1931, son of the late William and Anna Neilson Booth, he had resided in Franklin Township since 1969.
A United States Army Veteran of the Korean War serving in Germany, he worked for Hunterdon Transformer Company, Quakertown, NJ from 1970-1996.
Mr. Booth was a life member of both the Quakertown Fire Company, Quakertown, NJ and of the Quakertown Recreation Club.
Surviving are his wife of thirty-seven years, Kristine Kurtz Booth; two sons, Richard H. Booth of Pittstown, NJ and Michael D. Booth of Bloomsbury, NJ; four sisters, Carol Post of Burlington, VT, Marion Raphel of East Brunswick, NJ, Catherine Booth of Jacksonville, NC and Margaret Nocar of Magalia, CA; a brother, Carl Booth of Edison, NJ; and four grandchildren.
He was predeceased by four brothers, Herbert, Howard, William and Robert Booth.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the Holcombe Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery, Quakertown, NJ.
