Richard C. Bolig

Richard C. Bolig, age 96 years, of Raritan Township, NJ died Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at his residence.

Born in Monessen, PA, July 18, 1908, son of the late Carroll and Elizabeth Dill Bolig, he had formerly resided in Erie, PA and New Haven, CT and had resided in Raritan Township since 1956.

He was formerly employed by Talon, Inc., Flemington, NJ for thirty-five years until retiring in 1970. He was a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College and was a former longtime member of the Flemington Lions Club.

His wife, Evelyn Essig Bolig, died in 1987. Surviving are three sons, John R. Bolig of Dover, DE, Robert E. Bolig of Stewartsville, NJ and Brain C. Bolig Of Pittstown, NJ; a sister, Margaret Yengst of Pacific Palisades, CA; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ.
