Richard "Dick" Josep Vocke

Richard "Dick" Joseph Vocke, 87 of East Hempfield Township, Lancaster, PA died April 1, 2006 after a brief illness at Essa Flory Hospice Center Lancaster

County, surrounded by family.

Born in Flemington N.J. on October 9, 1918, he was the son of the late Joseph and Sadie Crozier Vocke. After working in the family business, Vocke Florists, now Flemington Floral Company, he started his own electrical contracting company, Vocke Electric.

Dick is preceeded in death by four sisters, one brother, and a son-in-law, Larry J. Stanford.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Elinor Niece Vocke with whom they celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary on September 12, 2005. Together they lived at Dilts Corner in Delaware Township, Stockton, NJ before moving to Lancaster County in 2004.

In addition to his wife he will be deeply missed by his children, a daugher Martha, married to Peter Campbell of East Madison, Maine; a son Fred, married to Lois of Stockton and a daughter Ellie, married to Rich Ozimek of Lancaster with whom he lived,; 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Private Graveside Funeral Services will be held in Sandy Ridge Cemetary, Stockton NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
