Richard H. Armstrong, age 66 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Wednesday, December 17, 2008, in Regency Heritage Rehabilitation Center, Franklin Township, Somerset County, NJ.
Born in Jersey City, NJ, September 26, 1942, he was the son of the late David and Marion Leonhardt Armstrong. He had formerly resided in Hackettstown, NJ, and had lived in Raritan Township, NJ since 2005.
Richard's two loves of his life were his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and his granddaughter Amber.
An electrical engineering graduate of NJIT, Newark, NJ, he was a systems analyst with Xerox Corp., Parsippany, NJ until retiring.
A member of the Son Rise Bible Church, Flemington, NJ, he is survived by his wife, Christine Collin Armstrong; a daughter, Elisabeth Riveiro of Lambertville, NJ; a son, Scott Armstrong of Saint Albans, VT; a granddaughter, Amber Riveiro of Lambertville, NJ; and a brother, David Armstrong of Durham, NC.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 11 AM in the Son Rise Bible Church, South Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 2-5 PM and Sunday from 2-5 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
