Richard H. Jaheriss, age 56 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Thursday, September 28, 2006, at his residence.
Born in Orange, NJ, February 11, 1950, he was the son of the late Henry and Harriet Wilson Jaheriss.
He had formerly resided in Knoxville, TN.
A graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas College, Spark Hill, NY, with a B.A. in English and a B.S. in Psychology, he was employed by Pepsicola Company Research Center, Valhalla, NY. He was a member of the International Society of Beverage Technologists and the International Food Technologists.
He was a communicant of St. Ann's Church, Hampton, NJ.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Jones Jaheriss; a son, Jim Jaheriss of Raritan Township, NJ; a daughter, Kristy Heffernan of Pittstown, NJ; and two sisters, Jean Zaneski of Flanders, NJ, and Patty Mahoney of Washington, NJ.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 AM in St. Ann's Church, 30 Main Street, Hampton, NJ. Interment will be in St. Ann's Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
