Born in Anadarko, OK on December 18, 1910, he was the son of Ulysses B. Newman and Sallie Lancaster.

Mr. Newman was Vice-President & Secretary of the Cavanaugh Corporation.

He was survived by his wife, Eleanor (Wagstaff) Newman.

Interment in Saint Magdalen Cemetery, 94 North Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
