Richard Lee Marchiando

Richard Lee Marchiando, age 73 years, of Readington Township, NJ passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022.

Born in Houston, TX on March 18, 1948, he was the son of the late Pietro Libero and Frances Marion Fox Marchiando. He was raised in Houston and also resided in Puerto Rico, before moving to NJ.

Before retirement, he was formerly employed by UNIVAC, Honeywell International Inc. and Chemetall US Inc. (Oakite Chemical Company) for over twenty-five years, working in the field of IT.

Richard enjoyed spending time with his family and being on his farm. He loved music and was recognized by family and friends as an accomplished musician of the piano, accordion, and saxophone. He was a humble man, with many interests and talents.

Richard was a man of few words, he will be remembered for his kindness and his unique way of joking and communicating non-verbally.

Surviving is his wife of seventeen years, Gillian Lawrence Marchiando; his two children, Mia Blampey (her husband Zoey) and Collin Marchiando; his two grandchildren, Kalani and Kai Blampey; as well as his siblings, Michael Marchiando and Francis Halsell, both of Houston, TX.

There will be a private visitation and funeral service in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ followed by burial in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ.
