Richard Mitzkewich

Richard Mitzkewich, age 79 years, of Alexandria Township, NJ, died on Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born on January 5, 1927, son of the late Andrew and Mary Mitzkewich, he had resided in Alexandria Township over forty years, having previously lived in Readington Township, NJ.

A United States Navy Veteran of World War II, Mr. Mitzkewich was a member of American Legion Post #113, Frenchtown, NJ.

Surviving are a brother and sister-in-law, John and Enez Mitzkewich of Alexandria Township, NJ as well as many nieces and nephews. A sister, Mona, died earlier.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery, Quakertown, NJ. There are no calling hours. Please visit www.holcombefisher.com for further information or to send condolences.
