Richard Patrick Mcgough, Iii

Richard Patrick McGough III, age 63 years, of Flemington, NJ, died Saturday, January 20, 2018 at his residence. Born in Philadelphia, PA, January 23, 1954, he was the son of the late Richard P. McGough Jr. and Norma Jean Dillon McGough. Rick graduated from Cherry Hill High School West in 1972. After training horses for several years at Garden State and Monmouth Race Tracks, he left the racing business and received his certificate in Information Technology from Chubb Institute. Rick worked as a programmer and project manager for several New Jersey companies including Chubb Insurance, and prior to his retirement, he worked for Weidel Realtors in Flemington and then for Farmers Insurance. Rick was an excellent cook, an avid gardener, and a friend to all animals. Surviving are his sister Melinda Mary McGough (Stephen Griffey) of Haddonfield, NJ. Cremation services were provided by Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington NJ. A memorial service for Richard will be held at a later date and time to be announced.
