Richard Vallee Wilferth

Richard Vallee Wilferth, age 89 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at his home.

Born in Rochester, NY, June 28, 1930, he was the son of the late William and Leora Linton Wilferth. He was predeceased by his brothers, William Jr. and Roy Wilferth.

A graduate of Syracuse University, Mr. Wilferth retired from Snyder General in the Finance Department.

Richard was a United States Air Force veteran of the Korean War.

Surviving are his wife of sixty-two years, Patricia Nelson Wilferth; his two daughters, Linda Wilferth and Susan Smith; his son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Karen Wilferth; his two granddaughters, Nicole and Natalie Wilferth; a grandson, Trevor Smith and his wife, Mandi and two great-grandchildren, Logan and Ava Smith.

Funeral services and interment with full military honors will be held in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA on Friday, May 8th at 11:30 am under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
