Richard W. Schwier, Jr.

Richard W. Schwier, Jr., age 52 years, of Sergeantsville, NJ, died on May 15, 2005 at his residence.

Born in Paterson, NJ, he was the son of Richard W. and Marjorie Weber Schwier, Sr., of Milford, NJ.

He owned and operated Schwier Brothers Painting, a family business, since 1975. He was a 1971 graduate of Hunterdon Central High School, Flemington, NJ. He was a Sergeant in the New Jersey National Guard; active in the Boy Scouts with his sons; coached baseball for their school teams; attended the Larison's Corner Presbyterian Church; and enjoyed camping and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Joyce Osterwyk Schwier; two sons, Blake and Steven at home; a daughter, Kelly, at home; three sisters, Carol Cole of Houston, TX, Susan Wilczek of Ringoes, NJ, and Nancy McNally of Milford, NJ; and two brothers, John Schwier of Bernardsville, NJ, and David Schwier of Flemington, NJ.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 6 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 PM until time of service in the Funeral Home.
