Richard Wallis Laskey, Jr.

Richard Wallis , Jr., age 65 years, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ. Born in Morristown, NJ August 11, 1953, he was the son of the late Richard Wallis Laskey Sr. and Nancy Laskey Stephens. A brother in Christ, Richard strove to live his life by the Word. By God’s grace he strengthened the understanding and faith of many and brought others to the Lord. Blessed with a wonderful memory he had an insatiable thirst for knowledge. In addition to the bible his studies included mathematics, engineering, technology, the English language, human physiology, animal husbandry, philosophy and music. He had an affinity for animals and farming and raised goats, sheep and geese. During his professional career Richard worked in heavy industry: master certified weldor, master certified auto mechanic/diesel mechanic, heavy equipment operator, millwright, machinist and trucker. Surviving are his love of twenty two years Pamela J. Jernstedt-Duhaime, sister Cathrine N. Laskey and brother Stephen Gallup Laskey.
